The South African Commission earlier today donated groceries to Tholoana ea Lerato orphanage centre as way of celebrating the renowned Icon of South Africa, Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday. This came after the South African government utter that this year’s celebration will not be the usual and normal one of a big ceremony as usual however,
“Every South African wherever they are should go out and share love and kindness to every being alive”, it said.
Passing the message form the S.A Commission the Deputy Commissioner Elion Von Wielligh told the children that they are not different from anybody; they are just unique and once they know and understand that they are unique in their own way, they can pursue and reach all their dreams.
“Focus on what you do best and you will get where you want in life”, he told them.
Tholoana ea Lerato first arrived in Lesotho in 1961 and in 1963 it started it started operating. In 1971 it was registered. It was started with the aim of helping the needy and vulnerable children across the country. Now it has 35 children.
